Queen's Court

Single-phase, 2 boss encounter with mechanics that vary through the course of the fight. You spend the whole encounter fighting 2 bosses, who each have individual health pools. The fishy witch Azshara oversees the fight, and interferes at times, forcing you to deal with that too.

Encounter Abilities

  • Desperate Measures

    • When either of the bosses hit 1hp, they begin casting Desperate Measures.

    • 15s cast

    • If the cast finishes, the casting boss is healed for 50% of max HP

    • This cast is interrupted if BOTH bosses hit 1hp

    • Therefore, bosses have to die very soon together

  • Separation of Power

    • If the bosses are within 21 yards of each other, they take 99% less damage

Queen Azshara

  • You don’t actually fight Azshara here, she just interferes in the form of Decrees

  • A new Decree is cast roughly every 40 seconds

    • Most Decrees put a debuff on you. Any that do, the debuff for that Decree lasts 30 seconds

  • Decrees

    • Form Ranks

      • Azshara creates four golden soak zones somewhere in the encounter area that last 5s

      • Must have someone soaking them

      • For every formation not soaked, the raid takes damage

      • The max damage taken seems to be the Dungeon Journal’s damage number of 101k Arcane

        • For each of the 4 soaks, that was reduced by 25k

        • So, if all 4 are soaked, no damage

      • New formations form every 10 seconds, and you have 5s to actually get in and soak them

    • Repeat Performance

      • If you use the same spell or ability twice in a row, Azshara slaps you, pacifying and silencing you for 2s.

    • Stand Alone

      • Puts a little bubble-like animation on everyone

      • If you stand close enough you are within someone else’s bubble, you deal 6300 Frost damage to all nearby players

        • Note that this is per person you’re close with. So, if a group of 4 people all stand too close, all 4 players will be hit for 25k Frost damage total

    • Deferred Sentence

      • Builds a stack counter on you whenever you stand still

      • Moving resets your stacks, but deals damage to you based on stack count. More stacks = higher damage

      • At the end of the 30s debuff, any stacks you have left just explode and deal damage to you

    • Obey or Suffer

      • Any player who takes damage is inflicted with Suffering, absorbing all healing for 5 seconds

Silivaz the Zealous

  • Commander’s Fury

    • Each consecutive attack against the same target increases this boss’s attack speed by 8%. Forces an eventual taunt swap

  • Frenetic Charge

    • Targets a random player. After 6s, charges the them

    • Deals 442k Frost damage, split between everyone within 8 yards of targeted player

    • Leaves a Mighty Rupture on the ground

      • Bubbly puddle, deals 75k Frost damage every 2s while you stand in it

    • Cast at 0:30, then every minute

  • Zealous Eruption

    • Casts this at 100 energy

    • Deals 151k Frost damage to everyone every 2s for 10s

    • Small circle appears under this boss

    • Standing in the circle prevents you from taking damage

    • Cast at 0:50, 2:37, 4:21, 6:05

Pashmar the Fanatical

  • Pashmar’s Touch

    • Melee attacks debuff the target with Pashmar’s Touch

    • At 10 stacks, you get MC’d

    • Forces tank swap

  • Fanatical Verdict

    • Targets 2-4 random players and marks them for 8 seconds

    • After 8s, affected players explode for 76k Nature damage to themselves and everyone within 6 yards

    • Cast at 0:32, then every 36 seconds

  • Fervent Bolt

    • Zaps the active tank for 25k Nature damage

  • Violent Outburst

    • At 100 energy, casts Violent Outburst

    • 5s cast

    • At the end of the cast, deals 226k Nature damage to the whole raid

    • Damage is reduced based on distance from the boss

    • Cast at 1:40, 3:25, 5:10

  • Potent Spark

    • Summons a series of Potent Spark adds, which slowly die over 40 seconds

    • Upon dying, they explode for 126k nature damage to the whole raid, and increase the damage you take by subsequent explosions by 100% for 5s

    • You can attack and damage these adds, causing them to die early

    • Because of this, you can space them out so you don’t let the raid get wombo combo’d and die

    • Cast at 0:17, 1:50, 3:23, 4:55, 6:28

Strategy

  • Keep the bosses tanked about 22-25 yards apart

    • Tank Silivaz in the middle of the room, with Pashmar off to a side

    • Swap when the Pashmar tank has 8 stacks, tanks should move and keep the bosses in the same spots

  • Make sure the bosses’ HP pools stay relatively even, and they die close together

  • You want an assigned area for the Frenetic Charge target to stand, so you can control where the bubble pools land

    • Recommend just picking a small area on the side of the room, and having each charge leave the puddle at the edge of a previous one

    • Also, assign a group of 3-4 players to help soak the Charge so nobody dies

  • During Zealous Eruption, make sure to stack under Silivaz

    • The tank who's holding Pashmar at this point will take heavy damage. You should coordinate an external CD for this.

    • Because of how taunt timing work out, the tank who STARTS the fight on Silivaz will most likely be holding Pashmar during every Zealous Eruption

    • We recommend having whichever tank is better at Magic mitigation take this job

  • Players targeted by Fanatical Verdict need to simply spread 6 yards

  • Make sure to get away from Pashmar during Violent Outburst cast

  • For Potent Sparks, you want your raid leader to mark a Skull and an X. Kill Skull asap, kill X after the debuff falls, and slowly widdle away at the unmarked mob. Make sure you don’t kill 2 sparks within 5 seconds, because that’s a great way to wipe the raid

  • Deal with Azshara’s Decrees

    • Most of these are fairly straightforward. Soak when you’re supposed to soak, spread when you’re supposed to spread, don’t cast the same spell twice in a row when you aren’t supposed to, and move regularly during Deferred Sentence

    • Obey or Suffer is the most dangerous of these, mostly because it affects tanks and prevents them from taking healing

      • You CAN immune the debuff from this, meaning Prot Pallies can Divine Shield and avoid it altogether

      • For tanks that can’t immune it, you need to work with the healers to ensure full HP right before the debuff goes out, and have CDs and AM available for as much of the 30s duration as possible

  • There is a bad series of overlaps between 3:10 and 3:40

    • The raid will have Obey and Suffer for this 30s period

    • During this time, you’ll have a Violent Outburst go off, plus a set of Potent Sparks spawn

      • While it’s okay to continue killing Sparks during this time, space them out a bit more than normal to let the healers bring the raid back up after the 5s heal absorb ends
